Students in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program at the Eagle County Charter Academy launch a tethered weather balloon with the help of SkySentry on Friday, May 18, in Edwards. The students mounted cameras to the balloon, which went around 1,000 feet in the air. The company came to demonstrate the balloon in hopes of further encouraging students’ interest in both science and technology.
